Welcome to Evergreen

Evergreen is a diverse East San Jose neighborhood with lots of newer development and scenic views over valleys and hills. This community has several parks and country clubs along with access to over 100 stores and restaurants at the Eastridge Center Mall. Real estate includes large single-family homes and some townhouses and condominiums. Homes in the east and south tend to be larger and offer the best views while the flatlands near the Capitol Expressway and Eastridge Mall are generally more affordable. Evergreen also has some of the best schools in San Jose.
 
Eastridge Mall is a major shopping and dining hub with 150 stores over two levels. Businesses include a Macy’s department store, fashion brands such as Forever 21 and H&M, health and beauty specialists like Sephora, and many other retailers and restaurants. Eastridge also has entertainment options such as lawn games, Round 1 Bowling & Amusement, and an IMAX AMC movie theater. Evergreen has many other restaurants and retailers. Curry Pizza House is a local favorite serving up craft pizzas and delicious curries. Peter’s Bakery sells tasty pastries and freshly-baked goods—their burnt almond cake is a must-try! Evergreen Farmers’ Market is held year-round on Wednesday and Sunday mornings with vendors selling locally-grown produce and specialty foodstuffs.
 
This leafy neighborhood has lots of parks and green space. Nearby Grant Ranch County Park spans 10,882 acres with gorgeous views, grasslands, oak woodlands, lakes, and ponds. Evergreen homes are also within easy reach of golf courses at The Ranch Golf Club, The Villages Golf & Country Club, and Silver Creek Valley Country Club. Reid-Hillview Airport often hosts special events such as tethered hot air balloon rides.
