Welcome to Milpitas

Milpitas is a thriving city centrally located between San Jose and Fremont on the San Francisco Bay. Milpitas is home to many young professionals and has the highest percentage of tech workers in the United States. There are lots of corporate headquarters within Milpitas. Other Silicon Valley tech hubs are easily accessible via three major highways and a BART station that was completed in 2020. Homes in Milpitas include lots of new constructions with stylish contemporary single-family homes, townhouses, and condominiums.
 
The Great Mall is the Bay Area’s largest indoor shopping center with around 1.4 million square feet of retail space. The Great Mall has close to 200 businesses and many of its retailers are outlets with discounted prices, such as Gap Outlet, Michael Kors Outlet, Neiman Marcus Last Call, New Balance Factory Store, and Nike Factory Store. The Great Mall also features a 20-screen Century movie theater, a Legoland Discovery Center, big-box retailers, fashion brands, and a variety of restaurants. Milpitas has several other shopping centers and retail plazas, including McCarthy Ranch Marketplace. Eateries at McCarthy Ranch include the excellent Asian fusion spot Banana Leaf, which combines the tastes of Malaysia and Thailand. Dishdash at McCarthy Ranch serves elevated Middle Eastern cuisine in a stylish space.
 
Milpitas has 17 neighborhood parks and a Sports Center with baseball diamonds, tennis courts, fitness classes, and two swimming pools. Ed R. Levin County Park spans 1,558 acres with a dog park, horseback riding areas, trails, and an area devoted to hang-gliding and paragliding. Levin County Park is also home to the scenic 18-hole Spring Valley Golf Course. Above the Milpitas foothills, the elevated Summitpointe Golf Club has great golfing and spectacular views.
 
Milpitas operates its own Milpitas Unified School District.
